Dreambuilder Diaries is a one-year video series exploring what happens when we stop postponing our dreams – and start building them. Even with self-doubt. Even with a full-time job. Even if it’s messy. This project is my own commitment to try – and to invite others along the way to share their stories, their insights, and their courage.

This is still the very beginning.
The channel isn’t live yet and still in preparation – I need these interviews to build the first episodes. That’s why this site is just for potential guests like you – and why it honestly means the world that you’re here.

MEET THE DREAMBUILDER
BEHIND THE DIARIES

Hi, I’m Svenja – a normal German girl with a corporate job (project manager) and a big dream (becoming a part-time storyteller and author). For years I stayed on the „safe street“ – pleasing others, doubting myself, pushing my dream to “someday.” Then I decided to stop waiting and to take the risky road (building my dream, even though it could massively fail). Dreambuilder Diaries is my honest attempt to go for it. Out loud. Imperfectly. With heart, humor, honesty and way too much coffee (and probably a few awkward dance breaks). In the hope that others might come along for the ride.

So if you’re wondering who you’d be talking to – here are five facts about me:

  • This project survived at least 14 plot twists, 3 identity crises, 100 Google Docs, and several “what am I even doing?” moments. But hey – here we are. I’m doing it. (Kind of terrified. Very committed.)
  • I wrote my first novel when I was twelve. It was 400+ pages of emotional chaos and glorious spelling mistakes. I still have it. No, you can’t read it. But honestly? I think I owe it to that little girl to at least try to fulfill her dream of becoming a published author. With this project I am finally giving that dream a real shot with my latest novel.
  • I once performed on two major German music TV shows and sang at weddings for years. Plot twist: I later realized I’m a highly-sensitive introvert who prefers editing videos and telling stories in silence to singing in sequins. Admitting that felt more brutal than a Game of Thrones episode. But hey — character development, right?
  • I eat so much, my friends call me “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” “Tsunami,” or just… human compost bin. I prefer to call it creative fuel.
  • My childhood hero was Mulan. I used to stand in front of the TV with a bamboo stick, practicing warrior poses. It led to karate. Then kickboxing. Then quitting, because life. But the energy’s still there.

So… that’s me.
Slightly caffeinated. Slightly sensitive. Deeply driven.
A storyteller in progress. And finally hitting record.
